Yellow Lake Perch Fillets - 11 lbs

Since moving down south, we haven't been able to get lake perch till Walleye Direct. These are as good as catching them yourself except you don't have to clean them. I don't know how you guys can fillet these little guys so perfectly. Just no fuss. Grab however many you want to cook, thaw them out, sautée them in a little butter and you have a perfectly delicious dinner. Thank you for doing all the work!

Ordered the 11 lb box, it came quickly, still frozen (2 day delivery) and packed very well. Had to cook some up that very night! They were DELICIOUS! I was a Wisconsin/Minnesota resident my whole life and have had to recently move down to Louisiana for a job transfer. Well, you can't get fresh water fish down here, only catfish and seafood. The residents always talk about how great their fish is down here but for me, nothing comes close to perch and walleye!!!! (Which is the other half of my order!) Double Yummy for me!!!

I grew up in Chicago and grew up on lake fish. The taste of the yellow perch brings back that wonderful taste. I have been out in Colorado for 22 years and it is wonderful to have those wonderful fish to my avail again.Thanks. I will be ordering much earlier next year. The fish were truly individually frozen~! Nice!.

A week ago, my wife and I had received 22 lbs of your fresh water yellow perch fillets which we had vacuum sealed one pound each into vacuum sealing bags with our chamber style vacuum sealer... We could not resist opening our first sealed bag two days later and after giving them a light dry batter coating, we soon had enjoyed the best tasting fresh water perch ~ ever !

The yellow perch were perfectly cleaned, free of scales and bones, and great tasting. They arrived completely frozen with 1/2 of the dry ice remaining via 2nd Day Air. Walleye Direct is in a league of it's own when most businesses use "expedited shipping" to enhance their bottom line. Trust these folks when they say 99% of customers will be satisfied with the economy shipping. Living in the Nevada desert, I opted for 2nd Day Air, which meant the fish flew from Omaha to Louisville then back to Las Vegas, arriving in the same amount of time as my first winter time order via the economy method. These guys know what they are doing! By the way, 5 stars go to the perch I caught anchored in Georgian Bay, which went from the lake to the pan in an hour. Figure a way to get 'em to me that quick, you'll get five stars as well!

Just ordered 11 lbs of Perch! Depleted the 5 lbs, need more! We can't get enough. Also, agree with Cher - we also are from Cleveland and know exactly what she means.

I've been so happy with the products I get from Walleye Direct that I now place a yearly order. It's impossible to get fresh perch and walleye in Alaska and they have the best.

The service, attention and most importantly the product have been superior. This is the third order from them in the past year and I am truly impressed. Ordering fish online seems risky, but not from Direct. If you want to have some fun, Google Earth the company address and you can see a couple in a back yard. Not what I was expecting, but funny for a fresh fish company. I will buy again.

I would say that i am overall very satisfied with my purchase, and the speed in which the delivery was handled. My only concern was that when i opened the product the dry ice had been completely melted and i was concerned for the safety of my order. The fish were still fozen, so i think there will be no problems, but it was dis concerting.I would advise a little more dry ice next time. The fish was cleaned and processed exceptionally, my only complaint is that they taste and smell alot fishy'er than when i catch them and eat them here in Oregon. But they are still delicious!!!!!

Very good product although a little pricey and perch could be a little sweeter. Since I am originally from Michigan I know good quality perch and this ranks pretty high. Packaged well and arrived as described. Will definitely order again in the future.

As with everything from Walleye Direct, the flavor of these fish is excellent, but the pieces are pretty darned small.
