Yellow Lake Perch Fillets - 11 lbs

We have been having perch all week. They are prepped so well for us and the taste is out of this world. My only problem with the perch is that I need more ways to cook it! They are absolutely awesome. And I had no idea how much fish were in 11 lbs.

I spent over 60 years fishing the Great Lakes around Michigan. When I moved 2300 miles west I panicked when I realized I couldn't find the fish I was used to. I searched the web and found that Walleye Direct was the perfect solution to get my "fix". The fish are exactly what they say they are and they are delicious. I am now being enlisted into 'fish fries' for people that have never known the joys of the diverse types of fish from the Great Lakes and Canada.

Fish arrived in two days. Despite it being august they came completely frozen. very good fish.

It has been many, many years since I enjoyed some fried perch from the northern fresh waters. I had some really great memories from long ago and hoped that it was really as good as I remembered and would be as good. I even had a little apprehension that maybe my mind was embellishing the memory . But I was determined so I ordered it and hoped for the best. I was definitely NOT disappointed. I used a light breading and deep fried it, and it was absolutely outstanding! As good or better than I remembered!! I would not hesitate to order again. My only change would be that if I ordered during the hottest time of the year again, I would probably opt for the overnight shipping. I used standard shipping and when it arrived, the dry ice was gone. However, the fish was still frozen except for a very small bit of softness around the edges. I shouldn't be surprised since it traveled through 100 degree weather, but no damage was done. It was GREAT!

Finally purchased 11lbs of the perch filets after moving from Michigan to Georgia in the 80's and not having a good perch since....... The perch were really really good. I will be purchasing more. Thanks Walleye Direct

My 11# order of Yellow Perch arrived completely frozen, despite the summer heat and use of standard shipping. I've enjoyed this great product for many years, and plan to continue. The great taste of real Yellow Lake Perch that I grew up with!

The filets arrived perfectly frozen and in great condition - were better than I had expected and they were delivered to a pretty rural area. The packaging was great and the fillets were pretty good size for yellow perch. Worth every penny to me and will certainly be ordering more in the future.

Always great for a fish fry

This was oder number 4 that I've purchased over the last few years for our company fish fry. The Perch was great!! Even sent me tips on how to remove the back skin so they fried up without curling. Another order will be coming later this summer when we will have our Walleye cook out!

These fish are perfect .Individually frozen not all stuck together makes it easy to repackage in smaller lots.

We got our order this morning in sunny Escondido, CA. There was still a large chunk of dry ice and the fish were hard as rocks. We repackaged the individual fish into 1 lb vacuum packs holding some out for dinner. THEY WERE AWESOME. We will be repeat customers.

get these perch every year since moving to Texas. The fish are very nice size and easy to work with when dividing them up. enjoy them very much. hanks
