Yellow Lake Perch Fillets - 11 lbs

Very fine, as usual. Grew up in Michigan so know perch pretty well.

I have ordered first order was # 5 Lbs. lake perch excellent. Next order was 11 Lbs. again excellent this has been a span in about 3 months. Last order was again 11 Lbs. this time the perch were much bigger in size which is ok but so far in first pound of perch I have had several with fish scales on them. Not just a scale or two but area of size of silver dollar size. I hope this is islotaed thing but not sure at thi time.

Wow, Have not had good perch since I moved from Michigan. These perch were great. Cleaned well, and frozen hard when arrived even down here in Florida. They tasted like fresh. I will be ordering on a regular basis.

Ordered 11 pounds of perch deleverd with plenty of dry ice. Perch are delicious and will order more.

One of our favorite fish to eat never disappointing will be going fishing again.

Brought back memories of the Friday night fish fries we used to have in Wisconsin.

The fish arrived frozen in the two-day shipping...which is great for Southern CA. Yes, this is the real deal--just like I'm used to when I go back to visit my native WI. Delicious!

Now that I've been enjoying my order for several meals, I thought I should update my review. CONDITION: Each and every filet has been dressed almost to perfection. I have found a few filets with a couple scales still on the edges, but nothing that a thumb nail won't easily remove while rinsing the filets. Whoever dressed these fish is a master! No rib bones and all the meat is there! QUALITY: The taste and texture of these filets are as close you will ever get to freshly caught. It's obvious that very little time was spent between the catching and the freezing. Firm and SO VERY flavorful. For the record, I've found the same with the Walleye filets, although the small strip of 'pin bones' needs to be cut out of the Walleye after thawing. OVERVIEW: I'm an extremely satisfied customer and will certainly buy from Walleye Direct again!

My order arrived today (right on time) The first step was repackaging 5 pounds of 'eyes' and 11 pounds of perch into smaller Vacuum Pack bags. OMGoodness! 16 pounds of my two favorite types of fish will keep a smile on my face for several months. I haven't had a chance to eat anything yet, but they look amazing. Individually Frozen, and hard as a rock. I've got a little over a pound of perch thawing in the refrigerator right now, and if they taste as good as they look!!!!
