I have been purchasing from Walleye Direct for the past 6 years and the quality and quantity of service is excellent. The final product keeps me reordering for more.

The fish arrived perfectly frozen and thawed nicely overnight . My husband and I entered 3 additional couples on a beautiful sunny Autumn evening. We started with a mixed lettuce, green grape and goat cheese salad with citrus dressing prepared ahead of time. This was followed by a small serving of gourmet slow cooker New England Clam Chowder. The main course was Crispy Baked Walleye with a Panko bread crumb, instant mashed potato and Parmesan cheese coating on our Walleye fillets. It was crisp on the outside and flaky on the inside. It was served with a Fresh Tomato, Mango salad with fresh cilantro and their choice of chopped cashews or macadamia nuts on one side. Blackened corn adorned the other side of the beautiful fillet. The individual apple, cherry or peach pies baked in muffin tins, drizzled with flavored liquors and topped with ice cream was served after sitting on our porch around a fire feature. The walleye was an absolutely perfect star for our special dinner. The appearance of the generous fillets and quality of flavor made fans out of our guests. Thank you for this great product. We look forward to our next meal.

Super Yummie!!! There is no better fish than Walleye.

I have caught walleye fresh in the Boundary Waters of MInnesota. It was 15 minutes from flopping fish to savory stomach. There is no flavor like fresh-caught walleye. But these frozen filets are almost as good. Yum!

I've been a customer for a number of years and I can't say enough good things about Walleye Direct!! Great service and excellent fish. It always arrives completely frozen and each fillet is separate which allows for immediate repackaging into meal size portions (1 fillet per person) be sure to use your vacuum packer!!! I like my walleye fried-- seasoned flour, egg wash, seasoned panko and fried @350 for exactly 2 minutes per side. Add some home made tartar sauce and enjoy. Thanks WD!!!

Great fish - tastes fresh! The only thing I would have liked would have for the filets to be wrapped better (maybe individually). Dry ice lasted just long enough to keep them frozen in shipping. Delicious!

Being from Wisconsin I know what Walleyes are about. Mom had a deli & catering when I was a kid and Wauwatosa, WI was a fish on Fri. area. Deep fried Walleye could bring a tear to ones eye. Next on that list was Lake Perch. Walleye Direct has taken me back 60 years to those Walleye days. Also the fishing trips to Canada. Thank you W/D.

Better than expected and fairly large. Expensive and a little more than local fish market but enjoyed and served family from grille.

I am a former resident of Minnesota and avid walleye fisherman both there and in Canada. The filets I received were sizable and very tasty even though they were frozen rather than fresh. They are delicious. They arrived exactly when they were supposed to and were packed well and frozen solid. I re packed them in vacuum sealed bags and they continue to delight the family with flavor and meatiness.

The fish is excellent, shared some with friends and they too enjoyed it.

Being raised on the great lakes but now living in Northern NM, I had been unable to get my beloved walleye anywhere. I am now in heaven once the order arrives. This is my second order and will not be the last. Filets are very easy to deal with, separately frozen, arriving even with second day air, with dry ice still intact. Great, friendly customer service as well.
