Three Pack - Walleye, Bluegill and Beer Battered Walleye

All the fish is fresh and tasty. The walleye fillets are boney and have more bones than I expected. The lake trout is very good, fresh and no bones.

Packed great, still cold and almost still frozen upon arrival! Very good tasting fish! I actually love the pre-battered walleye, didn’t think I would. Definitely order this again.

I reviewed the IQF Walleye in another review. I was so looking forward to the bluegills and was a bit disappointed the first time I prepared them. I thawed and rinsed them, lightly floured and seasoned them and briefly pan fried. They had bits of fins that interfered with the tenderness I associate with bluegills. Next time I will the, clean carefully, and perhaps quickly deep fry to see if that produces the taste I am looking for.

The three pack is a good way to sample different offerings. All three varieties are of excellent quality. We were especially pleased with the beer battered walleye.

Excellent selection....super high quality. FedEx...had some issues with delivery on time. No fault on your end but the carrier. Product arrived with all dry ice gone. Lucky fish was still frozen.

Love the walleye. The battered fish were great but will try out on the filets which are the perfect size. The blue gill were wonderful pan fried for breakfast!

Quality of fish has always been good. I’ve ordered multiple. I wish you would vacuum pack your product. It would stay better longer.

I have had the walleye filets before, and they were wonderful. I just vacuum package the filets in amounts I intend to use them. I will cover the Bluegill and Beer Battered Walleye in this review. For those out there that are unsure if you want to commit to 10 pounds, this is excellent way to sample a spectrum of the products. The Beer Battered Walleye was really tasty. As for the Bluegill, I am just grateful someone else fileted those guys. They were a real taste treat.

Hubby n I r transplants from Green Bay WI and these Bluegill n Walleye took us back to a simpler, better time. We couldn’t believe the taste. DELICIOUSNESS! I will definitely b ordering again. Mary L

I'm on a very strict diet and fish is on my food list. I grew up on Lake Erie and fished often with my grandfather and Father for Walleye, Perch, and Black Bass. I moved to florida in 1982 and after all these years I finally found the greatest place to get FRESH walleye! Walleye Direct IS the place! The fish are fresh and very tender, large fillets and very few small bones. If you like fresh water fish the best place to go is WALLEYE DIRECT!

Great delivery, frozen and packaged, small bluegill. Tasty, and the trick is to learn how to cook them whether it be air fry, in the skillet or otherwise. Skillet was excellent just like I would cook them if I was camping.

Delicious! Love the battered walleye and the plain walleye. The bluegill is good too but I prefer the meatier fillets of the walleye.

The fish that I ordered came very quickly and in a very safe packaging. The fish itself tastes like it was caught 10 minutes before hitting the pan!! Best fish I’ve ever had!

So far I have only had the beer battered walleye from this pack - it's great. Have had the walleye fillets many a time and it too is great. Still trying to figure out what to do with the bluegill, but tacos sounds like a plan. I regards to shipping, this showed up at least one day, but probably two days later than UPS initially indicated. The dry ice was gone but the product was still frozen solid. A+ for walleye direct, C- for UPS.

The Walleye was fantastic! The Bluegill package had opened and had defrosted so we threw it out. Customer service gave us a $60 credit to use in the future. Now very satisfied.
