      Description

      Northern Pike fillets of various sizes -- 11 lbs. Wild caught Canadian fillets are individually quick frozen (IQF). Just fish and a slight water only glaze to protet them. 

      Grab whatever size you need for the meal. Northern Pike are a bony fish and we don't get all the bones on these. We have been receiving complaints on bones and I hear you. There are limited options on this product so if you only want boneless this isn't the best product for you. 

      Among the leanest of freshwater fish the Northern Pike is also know as the Jax or Jackfish is a large predator fish and puts up a great fight when fishing. Pike tend to be bony and our team tries to remove them, but there will likely be a few bones on these. The pike's flesh is firm and flaky. It's also known for its excellent keeping qualities and many people pickle and can it.

      These are 100% Canadian caught and Canadian filleted northern pike. They have never left North America.

      Years ago my husband caught a large Northern Pike, but never had a chance to taste the meat. He had it mounted and person did a great job, but never saved the meat. Now he knows what it tastes like....GREAT. There are no bones and no fishy smell. Cooks like flaky white meat. What a great product.

      If you've never had Pike and you like trying different types of fish, this is a good one to choose. Pike is mild tasting and is great fried. So far I've found no Y bones. The fillets aren't thick but they are big. I pan fry them in a 10" skillet and so I cut them in half before cooking to make them fit. I tried baking but much prefer Pike fried.Totally recommended!

      Fillets were as advertised: flash frozen, individually. I was able to take family-sized portions and vacuum seal them for the freezer. The fish was fresh and delicious! All of the "y" bones were removed and I would take the boneless northern pike over the more expensive walleye. I will certainly order again!

      Product in good condition when received. Dry ice was somewhat scant, suggest more. I haven't eaten Pike since '63 but still recalled the flavor. Your product did not disappoint. I will purchase more in the future.

      Haven't had a pike dinner since we lived in Alaska until now. Although these fillets were smaller than the ones we had in Alaska, they were just as yummy. We haven't found a bone yet. If you've never tried pike give yourself a treat and try these. Price is good and is less expensive than flying to Alaska.

      Very tasty fish, and 11 lbs of high quality wild-caught fish is value that can't be beat! I was surprised when I opened the box to find the fillets loose in a large plastic bag, but they were frozen solid and VERY cold, so they stayed frozen while I packaged them in smaller bags to freeze in meal-size portions. It took me a while to package 11 lbs. but when I finished the fish were still all frozen solid and cold enough to be hard to touch with bare fingers.
