Yellow Lake Perch Fillets - 5 lbs

The yellow lake perch fillets are outstanding! I like the way you freeze them in 1 pound pouches now. I always keep plenty in the freezer. They are my favorite fish, and make a great treat for dinner. I have never had a bad batch or a single fillet that was anything but great. The quality is always consistently top notch.

I don’t like the perch in one pound bags. There is only two of us and we can’t eat a whole bag at a time. Otherwise the perch are delicious

I started buying these when we lived out of state for a few years. We Michiganders missed our lake perch! What a treat they were, and they even arrived in a southern state still frozen. We are back in MI, but can't always find good, fresh lake perch in the restaurants. No problem, we have some great ones in our own freezer!

The perch is delicious, HOWEVER, i was unhappy with packaging. It use to come in a large bag and could take out how many you wanted to cook. This time it is vacuumed sealed and I had to cook the entire bag.

Of all the Mitten Must Haves I have missed the most is Lake Perch! Walleye Direct helped my dreams come true by offering Michigan Lake Perch. I dipped them in egg white then bread crumbs and lightly seasoned then sauteed them.... my oh my so incredibly delicious... I closed my eyes and was back to fine dining Michigan Perch style! My Mom cannot get perch where she lives (central FLA) and looks forward to her traditional 'birthday/mother's day' gift of lake perch every year from Walleye Direct! Fish is fresh, shipping impeccable, altho she said this year 'the fish itself is packaged differently & not as easy to separate the 5lbs for individual meals, like they used to.' Some creative separating and refreezing still made her gift perfect! Still and will always be a fan of Walleye Direct!

Numerous orders have always been quick, still frozen, nice size and delicious. But this latest order of perch outstanding. You caught me completely off guard with your new packaging which made storing the fish easy. No more separating into small packages, vacuum sealing, ect. Hats off to you great improvement.

Great move putting these tasty fillets in 1=lb vacuum sealed packages. Parceling them out into individual freezer bag packs as soon as the package arrived was always the first order of business when we received our order, and now I don't have to spend the time or energy doing that; just pop the fish in the freezer and take them out as needed.

Loved the flavor. Cooked up well. My only issue as well as the walleye are the bones. I wish there were less that I do not have to search for or worry about getting one stuck in my throat.
