I loved the choice

I grew up eating freshwater fish that my Dad caught in a northern Michigan lake, and I left Michigan 20 years ago. I have missed these fish ever since! I am loving being able to have them on hand in the freezer and they are quick and easy to prepare and ENJOY! This is a great deal! I will be ordering more!

With Lent being here, we needed some variety in our fish for Fridays. This will give us 8 meals. So yummy. We did the Sweet & Sour Sauger (with the walleye) yesterday. New recipe for us to make more often too (recipe is from Walleye Direct too)

We love love love this sampler. We bought it the first time in 2021. All the fish is so good! Great quality, large portions. Fast shipping. We just had friends over to enjoy the lake perch with us. I pan fried a portion of the walleye for my husband and myself. So much flavor in this fish. Looking forward to cooking the pike and the bluegill. Their customer service is outstanding! I would never buy from anyone else.

Fresh and great tasting, vacuumed packed

Ordered, shipped Tuesday, sat in Salt Lake City, UT all weekend. Called and had them return to shipper before they delivered rotten fish. Customer service very helpful and promised to ship on a Monday so box would not sit in Salt Lake City all weekend. Did not happen, they shipped on Wednesday so it sat in Salt Lake City again. Called and was told that 20 lbs of dry ice in box so that it would be ok. It was not. Also, fish was NOT labelled, who knows what it was... not me. Will not buy again.

Product was very well packaged and had ample dry ice. Nice clean looking fillets. I have only had the Bluegill so far and they were delicious. Looking forward to trying the other fish in the freshwater sampler. Will definitely buy again!

Brings back childhood memories having fresh water fish. Arrived frozen, perfect!

It would be great if you could I.D. the fish with a label, I'm not an expert on knowing fish.

The shipping was nice and I love the fish that I ordered. I wish the bags were labeled so I knew what fish I was eating. I couldn’t tell what was pike or walleye. Other than that u can’t complain.

I grew up in the Midwest where seafood wasn’t available (way) back in the day. We ate fresh caught freshwater fish and I loved it. I live on the east coast now and while the seafood is great I missed the freshwater fish. I found Walleye Direct and tried the sampler. Wow! Clearly the walleye was fresh when it was frozen and is outrageously good . It really took me back. I can’t wait to get into the rest of it, especially the lake perch. Thank you Walleye Direct.

Really loved the variety.

For 2 years, we haven't been able to visit our vacation property in Canada. That also mean no bringing home our fishing limit each trip up. Not sure that all fish in our samplers were Canadian citizens, but they sure taste like wild-caught fish from clean lakes! We purchased 2 samplers, which gave us 4 pounds each of walleye, perch, bluegill and pike. We have had tried fried walleye, perch and bluegill, and have smoked some of the pike. All first rate! The fish came nicely packaged with ample dry ice, about 20 pounds of it. It also came in just a few days with all fillets frozen solid. We could not be more pleased with our purchase and plan more orders in the future. Great company, highly recommended!

Bluegill, lake perch, makes me feel like a kid again. Just wowed my wife with the flavor of good panfish. All the fish in the sampler is excellent, and I am still looking for the right recipe for Pike, I picked one. not so good, had nothing to do with the fish, I am always baffled by folks that say fish tastes too fishy.......eh? eat a pork chop! Grilled Pike is next on the menu, my own recipe.
