Frozen Breaded Sunfish Fillets - 10 pounds.

2 X  5 pound bags of wild caught Canadian Sunfish filleted and lightly breaded.

Perfect for a small fish sandwich or with fries for a fish fry.

These are mostly bluegill, but the processors don't differentiate between the various species of sunfish, so they are labeled as sunfish.

Cooking Instructions:  Place frozen product in preheated fryer at 350 degrees for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to stand 2 minutes prior to serving.

The bluegills were arrived frozen and the breading is just right. Not pleased with the packaging. Instead of sending them in a sealed bag, the 10 pounds of fish arrived in an open blue bag. No seal, not even a twist tie. In the past, our fish has always arrived in smaller sealed bags. Very disappointed in this shipping method.

Not a big fan on first cook but I baked them as shipped. Forgot what they taste like it's been so long. Got spoiled on crappie but that's OK. Need to try some more recipes and add in different batter combos that I use on crappie. Deep fry batters. I'm confident I'll find something to enhance the taste and I'll eat my 11 pounds.

We used to get up and take an early morning cruise around the lake. If we were lucky and caught a few pan fish we would return home and fry them up along with some toast and eggs. This is my idea of the way to start a day. Walleye Direct has given me the eating part back. The bluegills are perfectly breaded and taste like they came from the coldest lake. Excellent!
