The Walleye fillets are just as good and fresh as the fish we enjoyed on shore lunches when we fished in Canada several years ago. The frozen fillets bring back great fishing memories from years ago. Thanks for having these available. Shipping was excellent, the fillets arrived in great condition and frozen solid.

I love the taste of Walleye. I love fishing and my fish of choice to dine on has always been Walleye. Because of not being able to do my own Walleye catching, I purchased Walleye from my local food store. It was "ok" but not the taste and freshness I remembered with the Walleye I caught in the wild. I took a chance purchasing Walleye online. I didn't have high expectations and the price seemed a bit high however I wanted to take the chance. The shipment was excellently packed! I cooked 2 fillets the same day I got them. I was so amazed how it brought me back to my memories!!! They were exactly what I loved about Walleye! Anyone who ever caught fish then cooked them the same day understand when the fillets curl while cooking indicates freshness and well processed correctly! Walleye direct is my new seafood store! I will give another review when I make my next purchase of their yellow perch.

I ordered 22 pounds of walleye fillets to be sent to Alaska. All fillets were frozen hard as a rock upon arrival and in great shape. I've always had great service from Walleyes Direct and would recommend them to anyone.

These Walleye were great and the shipping was prompt.

Order: 68067 Placed: 03/24/2022 Only issue was the packing, and some of the filets came through the wrapping, they weren't vacu sealed. They were still cold/frozen when they arrived in FL. Box was wet though. Cheese curds were still pretty frozen. You might want to put an important note for novices to order them already deboned or skin removed.

Fish did not appear fresh as advertised. Did not taste fresh. Appear to have been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

Again our box of 11 lbs Walleye Fillets arrived perfectly - after going through Phoenix. So happy with this product.

This is the fourth time that we have purchased the IQF walleye fillets and they have been uniformly excellent. We are originally from Michigan (now in Florida) and these are just as good as those that we ate up north. Each time they have arrived still fully frozen so the packing and shipping are great. We always repack them in freezer bags and put them in the freezer to be sure that they last longer than if we left them in the original bags that they are delivered in.

As usual the package arrived as advertised. It was perfectly packed with more than ample dry ice to keep the fillets hard frozen. NO shortcuts here! They are delicious and generously sized.

I grew up in Minnesota. My Dad was an excellent walleye fisherman. Everyone at the rustic resort at which we stayed would come down to the small harbor to see what Gene had caught. He, quite often would have some beautiful walleye pike. My Mom would cook it up for dinner and it was so good. The walleye we received from Walleye direct is flash frozen so it travels well, arrives completely frozen and tastes so very fresh! Just like when I was young, more than a few years ago!

Again a Christmas gift to my parents. They said something like outstanding.!! Breaded or beer battered they said great best they had in awhile.. ( first time they ate walleye)

Never disappoint

Just the right size (other company I've used in the past....walleyes are too big), I like the flash freezing and that you can pull what you need. Will definitely make another cast in your direction.

Absolutely the best walleye I’ve ever had the privilege to eat! Didn’t know walleye existed till about 15 years ago, restaurant find and recommend to try. Only place I’ve had it, and far and few between as most don’t offer it on the menu. After having this I won’t have it out again! Such a better tasting fish.

I have been ordering this product for several years and it is consistently high quality. I have friends now who order or add to my order to get a full locker. I grew up on this kind of Great Lakes fish and am so very glad I found Walleye Direct. I always order the skin on since Walleye Direct sent me directions for VERY EASY skinning.
