I am enjoying the best tasting fish ever on this planet. I am an ex Minnesotan, have been away for 43 years now and am finally eating my walleye fish again. So easy to just take a flash frozen fillet out of the bag, thaw it out in an hour and voila.....best meal in the world....I will NEVER let my stock run down.

Our family loves Walleye and we always seek it out when in Wisconsin, particularly at Fish Frys. Now we can enjoy the same quality if not better at home in Tennessee. Quality is excellent, packaging in excellent and shipping has never been an issue. We have gifted fish from Walleye Direct and it is always a big hit.

I ordered on a Monday and paid for 2 day shipping and the order did not arrive at its destination until the following Monday.

This arrived via FedEx ground and completely frozen to Savannah, Georgia. This is important because I have ordered walleye from Minnesota and paid to have is sent over night and it arrived partially thawed. The Walleye direct fish was packed very well in an insulated box with an inner box holding the flash frozen fish covered with dry ice. There was still dry ice in the package when it arrived.

I previously purchased the 5lb Walleye package and it was fantastic. My 2nd purchase was the 11lb package with the anticipation it would be just as amazing. The product was advertised as containing only pin bones but that was not the case. There were a lot of bones and after I filleted the skin off of them I had to cut out a significant amount of fish away to remove them. Was disappointed.

I have been buying these fillets for about 5 years now and we love them. Shipping with dry ice really helps keeps the fillets frozen and fresh. Living in Houston, I typically only order in the "winter".

The fish was excellent! We had a fish fry for our neighbors, and there were a few people that thought they were not a fan of fish. Everyone loved it, and went back for seconds! So you know that was a success!!!
