IQF Walleye Fillets - Skinless - 5 lbs

Only thing better would be to have caught them ourselves in northern Minnesota.

I can get 'fresh' Canadian walleye for much of the season locally at my grocer. When I purchased this product it was really to compare and contrast these two walleye options available to me. After having made three dinners with the "IQF Walleye Fillets - Skinless" product from Walleye Direct I can say that it IS a superior product in comparison to what is available at my grocery store. The fish itself tastes fresher, once cooked it is a comes apart very nicely, it has less to no fish smell, and less to no bones in comparison to my grocer's stock. Again, the flavor of this is superior to what is in my grocery store. Will absolutely buy again, wish I could subscribe and save actually!

Third time have ordered this and is perfect. We can choose how much to thaw out. nice fillets and great fresh Walleye taste we so much have missed since moving from Minnesota to South Carolina. Thank you for saving us Walleye Direct.

Ordered the IQF skinless walleye fillets. Arrived frozen solid with dry ice in the peak heat of the Houston summer. When thawed, they are super fresh with zero fishy smell. Couldn’t be happier with the order or service. Thanks guys. I will be ordering again

I ordered the 5 lb skinless fillets and am very satisfied with them. Only have one objection. They were not delivered to my door like the always were before. They were put in a locker which is one block from my apartment and i had to carry the box in 112 degree weather. They are stamped "Perishable" If i would have waited one more day thet would have spoild. They already were starting to thaw!! By the way I am 83 years old.

Large pieces of fish and easy to take one or two out to quickly thaw and cook in a variety of ways.

The process was simple and straightforward. the shipping was well done and on time. The most important part was the product was fantastic! Absolutely off the charts!

This Walleye from Walleye Direct is outstanding!

The filets arrived on time, frozen and looked like we had just come back from a great fishing trip. Each filet was individually frozen so any number of filets were defrosted prior to use. We had a group of 8 for the fish fry….all from the northern lake states…..all thought the fish was as fresh and tasty as we experienced on our prior lake trips. Excellent product and service.

I like my walleye with the skin on. My wife and daughter prefer it with the skin off. Well, I tried it their way. I have to admit, it is pretty darn good! I will not say that it is better with the skin off, but it is very good. This walleye is everything that I hoped it would be. Excellent!

Skinless walleye filets are off the chart good. Shipped an order to a friend that never had it before. Now it’s their favorite fish!

Looking forward to cooking the skinless fillets. The unskinned walleye was excellent, but a lot more work because my husband does not like fish skin. Can always count on the fish tasting fresh caught.

Ordered the skinless fillets and was surprized to get 12 fillets. They are delicious. I am from Northern Minesota and live now in Arizona. haven't had walleys in over 25 years. Will order again when I run out.

Received 14 fillets weighing 4 pounds 10 ounces, fully frozen, delivered 17 days after my order, as predicted. Product had a fishy taste, indicating it sat in the boat without ice too long, or on the cleaning table too long. Walleye is usually not sold in supermarkets, and I enjoyed them in my hometown of Erie, so I tried Walleye Direct. We had the family over for walleye dinner, and 6 adults and 3 children had a great meal.
