The fish had no flavor. When it was filleted it was washed in so much water that no flavor was left. I’ve caught and eaten fresh walleye. This was a big disappointment.

Arrived on time and frozen solid

Second time I've ordered walleye from Walleye Direct. Ordered these for friends and they raved about how great they tasted, how great they were packaged and individually frozen. As the purchaser I was amazed how quickly the order was fulfilled and delivered. Will be ordering more!

Fish were good packing was not acceptable.

Filets were mostly all uniform sized, not stuck together as promised, still frozen as I had them to be with the daytime temperatures above 100 degrees where I live in the south. Package insulation was superb 👌. Arrived overnight as promised. The free shipping is a joke. 2 to 3 days. Only consider it if it's in the dead middle of winter and zero degrees out there. Paul

These days I am picky who I buy from. I drop companies if responsibility and authority are too widely separated within the company, which means the customer ends up having to get involved if anything goes wrong. No thanks, been there, done that, no more. These folks are GREAt. I had two comments about current local delivery issues, basically it's hot and busy. They lISTENED, I think, maybe they already knew, The reply to my email was "we got it", which is PERFECT. Guess what, "they got it". They added extra dry ice. Colorado is beautiful, but sun + closed truck = OVEN. The fish arrived in perfect condition and the extra dry ice was 90% evaporated, still working with minimal waste, perfect even though I'm pretty sure it arrived one day later than originally expected.. One day late is still pretty good performance, well within expectations. The fish are nicely packed and fresh, really as good as you possibly can get if the fish has to be shipped. The taste, ahhhhhh. I won't buy anywhere else.

Very well processed fillets. Excellent quality. Delivery was prompt with sufficient dry ice. We could not be more satisfied. Highly recommended.

Always arrives early with plenty of dry ice to keep it froze. It is so fresh tasting and cooks up moist.

Great fresh fillets!

Fast shipment. Arrived when expected and still frozen with some dry ice remaining even in 95+ degree days during shipment. “Normal” restaurant size portions with skin removed. Just a few small bones so far. Not dried out or freezer burned. Still fresh tasting and flaking - only thing better is eating them right on shore. Nice size fillets.
