IQF Walleye Fillets - Skinless - 11 lbs

After paying $21.18 for Culver’s three piece walleye dinner (deep-fried) with heavy breading, decided I could do it better so ordered the IQF fillets from Walleye Direct. Ordered on the weekend, arrived the following Thursday still frozen hard, Will now enjoy my weekly walleye dinner the way I like to fix it, and the IQF fillets are very nicely done.

The walleye is fantastic! Maybe a bit pricey but still fabulous!

The individually wrapped walleye were very fresh. I made a mistake and also ordered the unwrapped frozen pieces. They were not good at all. Definitely recommend the individually wrapped.

Overall, it was a good order. There was a glitch in shipping and delivery was delayed. I called to make sure the order was going to be put in freezer as it was perishable.......I was told it was going to be put in freezer until new delivery date. When I received it, it was clear that it had thawed some at some point as it kinda one big clump of fish. It took a lil bit but I was able to break apart and make smaller portions out of the box.

Good stuff. Arrived a day late but still frozen solid.

This is the second time I have ordered walleye from walleye direct. Had the fish shipped to our home in Nevada. The fish were packaged extremely well. They were frozen solid and not stuck together. 11 pounds of the fillets should provide my wife and me with 20 meals. A bargain if you look at it that way. Excellent fish when deep fried in beer batter along with onion rings, zucchini and mushrooms.

It's a perfect Christmas gift after everyone is tired of ham :) This has been a tasty choice for several years, and the recipients have all raved and thanked the sender enormously. Ordering early is suggested. Packages have arrived as promised, and everyone is happy. You will not be dissapointed.

Great taste. The fish came frozen and is delicious. I shared some with my parents who also thought it was really good.

Walleye is very fishy. Have to soak it in milk to remove fishy taste.

Living in Texas I was hesitant to order during the incredibly hot summer we had but decided to take a chance. I was so impressed with the packaging and speed of delivery. No need to worry about this. Go ahead and order and enjoy their fabulous Walley!

It’s been way too long since I’ve had access to nice Walleye fillets - These arrived fully frozen, were easy to thaw and prepare - and fried up wonderfully. Get the skinless, no hesitations - they were as delicious as they ought to be!!

I’ve eaten about 10 filets, and they have had a pretty strong fishy taste. The fish that I’ve bought in the past were phenomenal, but this particular batch isn’t very good.

My husband grew up on the Great Lakes and loves Lake Perch as well as Walleye. Whenever we make it back to the area we eat as much as possible but living in the beautiful PNW we don't have it locally. Finding Walleye Direct has been wonderful - we can now have fish fries and share with our neighbors, bringing back great childhood memories

The Walleye are so great. I pan fry them, 5 minutes each side with 2 TB of butter on medium heat. They taste just like we just caught them out of the lake. Yes, there are a few bones, but no one can get ALL the bones out. You just have to be a little careful. The bones will be in what I call the seams. If you separate the seams, then you can get the bones out by scrapping your fork along the side. We have only found between 4-6 per filet. The way the fish tastes, it is totally worth it.

I’ve ordered the perch a few times and have been more than satisfied. Since they were out of perch I got walleye fillets this time. Really glad I did, great flavor and nice sized fillets. The individual frozen fillets are really nice since you don’t need to thaw a whole package of fillets.
