IQF Walleye Fillets - Skinless - 11 lbs

I was very impressed with the fillets once they arrived. They were packaged exactly how they were described on the website. We had a couple and they were absolutely delicious. The size of tge fillets were perfect.

My order was received in a timely manner. The packaging was of very high end and product was still very frozen. I was able to vacuum package the fillets in the amount needed for a meal for my wife and myself. We just had our first meal of walleye fillets and they were excellent. Having ordered from Walleye Direct in the past. Looked forward to my latest order to arrive. Apparently the shipping method has changed. Previously orders were shipped in a styrafoam container with dry ice. This shipment arrived in a cardboard box with "Coldpacts". Because of this some of the filets were totally thawed and others were partially thawed. We cooked the thawed fish the day they arrived. The remaining fish were placed in the freezer and I hope they will be alright Because of the shipping method change I would be hesitant .to order again. I emailed the company about the issue and received no response.

I got my IQF Walleye fillets delivered just before Christmas. The dry ice had evaporated but the freezer packs and my fish were all frozen solid. I've tried the walleye and was very happy with the quality and flavor.

Great fish recommend

Some of the fillets had skin on them. The article I read and ordered from said the fillets will be packed in bags of about 1 lb. All of them were in a single box frozen together. I cooked them in lemon and butter and some garlic. These fillets had a very strong fishy taste which I have never experienced with walleye. The fish also seemed to have a strong salty taste. I plan to soak them in milk over night next time and fry them in beer batter. I have high hopes for the future.

The walleye fillets arrived frozen and are very good... my only problem with them is the quality of the filleting that was done. I've literally filleted thousands of walleyes. One thing my family expects is that when they eat my fillets, they don't end up with a mouthful of bones... or actually ANY bones. I make sure my fillets are bone-free so the people eating them don't have to work extra hard to sort through the meat with their tongue with each bite to be sure they aren't swallowing bones. Thus, I end up having "refillet" your fillets by taking out the little V of bones from the centerline. I'd suggest your folks wielding knives do a better job of checking each fillet. Thanks!

Having camped at the same spot with the same neighbors for the last 5 years during deer season, everyone expects a good cooked meal after A Hard Day's hunting. One night of the week we always have what we call wild game night. This may consist of dear, pheasant, rabbit, turkey & some type of fish that we have caught throughout the year. We usually fry up a mess of crappie but having this many people may wipe a man's freezer out fairly quickly. We love to go walleye fishing also but since we live in the midwest we feel fortunate to have a few cold water streams that actually hold walleye but usually don't produce tons of meat in the freezer. So this is why we turned to the internet and found walleye Direct. We were actually looking for Crappie but noticed they had walleye, perch and bluegill also. This was our first time using them & loved the fact that we could get fresh walleye to our doorstep in time to put a big smile on everyone's face at deer camp. Everyone absolutely loved it and it was a big hit. Thank you walleye direct. Everything was shipped in a nice neat cooler box with dry ice and was still frozen. We will be using you again.
