Lake Perch Fillet -- 5 pound package of frozen butterfly fillets --  roughly 1 pound vacuum packs. These are skin on and filleted, so no bones minus a few that slip through.

These vary in size but are usually on the smaller side when they taste the best. Yellow Perch or Lake Perch are a cousin of the larger walleye, but taste very close. Like our other smaller fish we do the dirty work and clean the fish so it is ready for your pan.

Please note that this is "real" lake perch (Perca flavescens) from freshwater inland lakes. I have spoken with many customers who have ordered ocean perch or Lake Victoria perch from other sites online that are not the same fish.

We ordered 5# of the Perch for a party we were planning. Unfortunately, the shipper messed up and we didn't receive the product until they were spoiled (yuck). Walleye Direct sent a second shipment that arrived promptly (in time for the party) and in great shape....and everything went off w/o an further hick-ups. The Perch were delicious and well filleted and thanks Peggy for helping us out!

We recently purchased the 5 pound package of yellow lake perch and they are great. We received 5 individual 1 pound packages of vacuum sealed filets perfectly packaged. Each vac sealed pack contains approx 16 filets. They are small but so delicious. I could hardly wait to fry some up. I used beer batter and fried up a pound and it was exactly enough for the wife and me. (we both love fish).

Order came packed very well and was solid frozen with an ample amount of dry ice left which was important as we live in Tucson Arizona and the temperature that day was 112 degrees. Excellent tasting fish and smells super fresh. The perch are kind of small but they sure are good. Reminds me of when I lived in Wisconsin.
