Lake Trout Fillets - 5 lbs

It seems that as I went farther into the box the trout started having a fishy smell.

Excellent product. Arrived fully frozen and have cooked several times. Would (and will) buy again!

I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. The fillets were packaged on dry ice and delivered in perfect condition. The individually packaged fillets are convenient for preparing just the right size meal, and they taste scrumptious! I was hoping this order would last for about 6 months, but at the rate I'm eating it, it will be gone long before then. I'll definitely be ordering again soon.

This is the first time that I have ordered the lake trout. They are beautiful fillets and individually wrapped. I like the convenience of being able to defrost just the amount that you need . We have only had one meal of them so far, so I am looking forward to trying the many ways that you can cook them.

Glad i made the purchase. They were well packed and still frozen. Had them for dinner and they were absolutely delicious. I will be making some trout jerk here very soon too.

Just tried the Lake Trout and they are fantastic. Just about the best fish ever. They are disappearing so fast from the freezer will have to reorder soon.

Bought 11 lbs. Walleye Skin on Fillets and 11 lbs. Skin on Lake Trout Fillets. The Lake Trout Fillets were individually vacuum packed in sealed plastic. The Walleye fillets came all loosely together. None frozen and stuck together. Not unhappy with the packaging although I did expect them to be vacuum packed like the Lake Trout. All the Walleye fillets were bundled loosely together in one quality plastic bag. Satisfied with everything the way it came.

These trout were quickly delivered & still frozen . When the box was opened I was amazed at the size of each fillet & thought that I had ordered too many, not so however since one fillet cut in half was perfect for my husband & I. I left the skin on because we are adept at easily removing the skin once plated. The trout had an excellent flavour. I shall continue to purchase the 11lb size if available in the future. Excellent value for the money..

My husband loves trout and I won’t buy it locally in Florida as it’s all farmed. So happy to discover Walleye. Beautiful tasty filets cryovac’d and shipped on dry ice. My only personal comment that I prefer consistency in single serving size. Some of the filets are huge .. more than enough for 2 people and difficult for one person to consume.

First time I’ve been able to catch this before it sells out and it is clear why it sells out so fast! The lake trout is outstanding! Excellent size and perfectly prepped. Arrived frozen and fresh as it could be next to straight out of the lake!

Found a trout I feel good about

This is my first order of Lake Trout Fillets. They were out of Rainbow and I wanted to fill out my order so tried these. They are excellent. Perfect for quick broiling and will, no doubt, be good pan fried as well.

So far, I have smoked one of the fillets on the grill to try the fish. It tasted excellent and definitely, met my expectations. I look forward to either pan frying some or poaching some next.

Ordered this trout for my husband and son. Both liked it very much. Fillets are very large. My husband said it was very fresh tasting.
