Lake Perch Fillet -- 5 pound package of frozen butterfly fillets -- roughly 1 pound vacuum packs. These are skin on and filleted, so no bones minus a few that slip through.
These vary in size but are usually on the smaller side when they taste the best. Yellow Perch or Lake Perch are a cousin of the larger walleye, but taste very close. Like our other smaller fish we do the dirty work and clean the fish so it is ready for your pan.
Please note that this is "real" lake perch (Perca flavescens) from freshwater inland lakes. I have spoken with many customers who have ordered ocean perch or Lake Victoria perch from other sites online that are not the same fish.

I have eaten quite a lot of yellow lake perch in my day as I am going on 62 years old. We have a famous restaurant in our area name Tiebels and it is know far and wipe for it's delicious small lake perch fillets. The yellow lake perch I purchased from Walleye Direct I would say is just as good or better, it's really the best I ever had and my wife is a boss with a skillet. DELICIOUS HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The perch were GREAT. This comes from a person growing up on a lake you can get fresh water perch. There are too many restaurants and suppliers out there that do not know the diifference between fresh water and ocean fish, or just do not tell you the total truth.

I love Lake Perch better than Ocean Perch, but found them hard to find in stores. These are nice sizes and really like the vacuum seal of 1 lb. so I only thaw and cook as wanted. Think it's pretty reasonably priced.
