Vac Pack Walleye Fillets - Skinless - 11 lbs

Great product, great flavor and timely delivery. I had a question about the product and received a prompt reply from customer service which was one of the reasons I decided to trust a new source. My husband and I host a party of 70 people every year for a week at our cabin. Our usual supplier of Walleye only had skin on available and we needed to find another source. Walleye Direct had great reviews and we will add to the list. Thank you!

The ONLY problem I have was the fillets were not well cleaned. Every filet had to be trimmed a lot. Other than that, the fish arrived perfectly and was delicious. Other than the bone issue and loss of fish due to trimming It would have been a 5 star experience. Is there a way to get a larger (thicker) filet?

Being from Wisconsin I know all about Walleye and Perch having eaten them during my life there. Also having caught them in Canada many times. W/D has with their QUALITY products allowed me to relive my youth. Thank you.

The fish arrived individually frozen so repackaging into family sized bags was a snap. The walleye are delicious!

The Walleye is one of the top two freshwater fish available in the USA the only other contender is Trout, Brown, Brook or Rainbow especially those from the Western Waters in COlorado, Montana and surrounding areas. I love the Skinless fillets as you simply dip and pan saute in the Potato Flakes. My grandson cannot get enough of them.

We have turned to Walleye Direct time and again for dependable service and FANTASTIC fresh fish. This time we ordered 11 lbs of frozen skinless walleye filets. They were delicious and fresh and perfect for our campfire fish fry in celebration of opening turkey hunting season. The hunters were blown away and two of them wanted WD's website info!!

I'm probably the wealthiest guy on my block right now. I opened up my box of walleyes, and could not be more pleased. They are perfectly skinned with no bones, ready for your favorite recipes. I feel like I have a freezer full of gold bars !!

This company went over and beyond for our family. As a first time customer, as we made our order, they experienced a horrible snowstorm, but despite that they made sure our order arrived in a timely fashion. They had constant communication with us and did everything to make sure we had our order asap. This first time customer will now be a repeat customer. Great service, friendly staff and outstanding products.

Got the 11 pound delivery of walleye. Having had fresh delivered (and having eaten it at restaurants in the Mid-West), this is not nearly as good. The Delivery was prompt and the product was frozen without thawing. But they deliver in a giant Hefty Bag (which is stated but I missed) rather than individual cryopac, which is much better for frozen food. The result is a loss of moisture in the fish. I did put it in freezer bags immediately, but having thawed a portion and cooked it as I would fresh (baked with a lemon/wine/butter reduction), it left a bit to be desired. This is classic frying fish as delivered and if you cook it that way, it's ok. Just not worth $20 per pound. From here on in, only fresh will do.

We had a wonderful 60th birthday celebration with a fun treat for this Wyoming bunch. Walleye! It arrived in great shape, still frozen and they were large fillets that cooked up in in quick order. We soaked them in milk then made our own breading and fried them up, just a couple of minutes. It was -14 outside so our cooking method had to move inside, but everyone had rave reviews over this fish. Absolutely would order again. Thanks for a great product!

The fish is delicious ('is' because we are still going through the 11 lb pile). We ordered overnight, but it took 2 days for UPS to deliver - still the fish was completely frozen (which was our concern). Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations.

The walleye is so good! I'm originally from MN and I crave the walleye! It gives me the opportunity to enjoy a little something from home! I'm a return customer and wl continue being a customer!
