Yellow Lake Perch Fillets - 5 lbs

Let me too something people, the yellow pearch from you guys is the bomb !!!!! Reminded me of the days fishing in the UP of Michigan at muskellounge state park and eating fish and American fries after being on the lake in the wee early morning. OMG. I should ordered the 11 lb order!!! I’ll be ordering every year now

Arrived quickly, solidly frozen, well packed and completely surprised my husband with perch dinner for his birthday.

Excellent !!!! I pan fried my first pound with an egg and milk wash Then dredged in shore lunch. 350 recommended heat is to hot For the fragile fillets, 300 Degrees is Perfect no smoke no burn. You can’t eat them Fast Enough.

Make sure you order the individually frozen version. I think it is called IQF. The perch are so darn FRESH and SO DARN SWEET!

Everything arrived frozen. We grew up with Lake Erie perch (Toledo) and now live in Arizona. My sisters dog got me a gift card for fish from Walleye Direct. Well perch was out of stock at that time, but a couple weeks later I received an email that it was back in stock. I ordered late on Thursday and received the following Thursday. Not exactly the same taste but I guess that makes sense. Different lakes. But it was delicious! The next weekend we grilled the walleye and this was another hit! We will be ordering this again. We've tried to have perch sent from Toledo and it's almost impossible and would have cost so much more. Thank you!

I ordered 5 pounds of lake perch. They arrived nicely packed in dry ice in separate 1 pound packages. These fish were amazing. Perfect filets, great taste. I will definitely order agaiin.

Yes good, but a little small

I have ordered perch many times--it's always outstanding! Recently tried walleye. Great! Always come greatly packed and frozen solid. Can't go wrong with Walleye Direct!

The perch are back in stock and delicious! Some were on the thin/small side, but hopefully that changes as the season moves forward. We live in California, and when the package arrived via normal shipping, everything was still frozen solid and packaged very well. Would have easily given them a 5-star rating if the perch were a bit larger.

The fillets this time were unusually small and not as well butchered as I have become accustomed to. Perhaps it is the early season. They were still great! But not as much fish per bit. I personally would have trouble filleting fish that small. Will still buy again...

Originally from WI we love the perch! The new 5 x 1 lb vacuum pack is great EXCEPT my wife & I can't eat a pound of perch @ one meal so we end up throwing away 1 or 2 perch (ouch). We prefer the previous 5 lb flash frozen loose pack. We got 7 packages of perch from it - just right for 2 septuginarians! Still highly recommend the perch

The perch I ordered came quickly still frozen, as well as the smelt. The perch were absolutely delicious. Will be ordering again, and I highly recommend them to others. Will be frying the first of the smelt tomorrow. I am sure they are as good as the perch.

Package arrived on time and the perch were great.

We love perch, but it's hard to find a store that carries it. So we are stuck with the ridiculous price. The fish is really good and meaty fillets!
