Great tasting Walleye. Being from North Dakota and now in very southern Texas, now in Texas there is NO walleye fishing which I love to do. Anyway I live in a 55+ community of mostly north midwest residents. I can't wait to have a community Walleye feed.

The product was still frozen when it arrived and as always the fish was excellent quality.

I have been going to NW Ontario for walleye for the past 30 years - shutdown by the Corona virus for the 2020 and 2021 fishing seasons. About a year ago I began to receive promo emails from Walleye Direct (how did they know I haven't walleye fished for over 2 years?). I finally broke down and ordered 11 lb. box of vacuum packed fillets on a Monday - they arrived to Montana frozen solid on that Wednesday. Couldn't be better - very pleased.

I used to catch and eat walleye almost daily while living in Green Lake Sk. Since, finding walleye has been impossible. To be able to treat my daughter's families to walleye diner has been special. The purchase was easy peesy. The number of fillets received exceeded my expectations. The dry ice packing was very effective and impressive. The quality of the fillets were as I had pulled them from my own freezer. In Green Lake it was catch - get home - fillet - cook. Although not ridiculously fresh, they were very very good, and my family, including grandkids, absolutely enjoyed them. Thank you for making walleye available. When the walleye craving returns, I will be in touch.
